Getting to Moreton Island
40 km offshore from Brisbane, the island can be reached by ferry, barge or boat. Ferries for vehicles and passengers run daily. Choose your island destination point and book the ferry from the corresponding departure point.More on getting here
Transport around Moreton Island
Moreton Island is made up entirely of sand with all vehicle access being along the beaches and the few sandy tracks across the Island and around the villages. It is a offroaders heaven with no sealed roads and sand driving all the way.More on transport options
