Can a bring a 2wd vehicle?
No, Moreton Island has no sealed roads just beach and sand tracks.

How do I book a campsite?
We do not book campsites we are here for information only. A campsite should be booked through the QLD national parks and wildlife services website.

If I don't have a 4wd can I still camp on Moreton?
Yes, there is a campsite "the wrecks" right next to the ferry landing point or you can book a 4wd transfer. You can also book day tours to Moreton or while you are on the Island to go exploring.

Can I bring a pet to the island?
No, 98% of Moreton is National Park and you are not allowed domestic pets in the National Park.
