In a delightful fusion of paradise and sports, Tangalooma Island Resort was fortunate to have three champion boxers visit with their families, on the 9th March 2024.
Away from the ring, brothers Jason Moloney, WBO Bantam Weight World Champion, and Andrew Moloney, WBO Global Super Flyweight Champion, along with WBC Straw Weight International Champion, Alex Winwood, embraced the Tanga life, with ATV quad bike riding, fish feeding, wild dolphin feeding and even a 4WDtrip to Moreton Island’s Honeymoon Bay.
However, their commitment to their sport remained unwavering as they also hosted an open training session for guests and staff to attend and watch the champions showcase their work. Jason, Andrew and Alex demonstrated their skills in a friendly, yet competitive sparring session.
This was a fantastic opportunity for Tangalooma Island Resort, it’s not every day you get to network with elite sporting professionals!
